About

Life Like Feel is a progressive pop band from Seattle, Washington (USA) with a passionate flair for songwriting and music that transcends many boundaries. Formed in 1994 by singer/songwriter Peter Fosso, their catchy, melodic songs with pop sensibilities is coupled with a unique intensity and power.

Produced by Kelly Gray (Candlebox/Queensryche), their first single "Start All Over Again" (landed them on the Rock the Vote compilation, Propaganda. The hook-laden groove of the song then caught the ears of the music industry's Album Network and the band was selected as a "Designated Hitter" on Album Network's Rock Tune-Up compilation CD. Life Like Feel was then picked up by Phisst Records, a nationally-distributed independent label, and their self-titled debut brought them rave reviews.

Life Like Feel's single, "Start All Over Again", has been played on nearly 200 different radio stations to date. Prior to the signing, the band had also achieved success in a number of contests: Yamaha Soundcheck voted them "one of the Top 10 unsigned bands in the nation", a semi-finalist in the Disc Makers Northwest Unsigned Band World Series, as well as being voted, "Best Unsigned Band"(in Seattle), winning a recent KISW/Samuel Adams battle of the bands.

In the latter part of 1997 they released a 4-song EP titled, Songs from the Deep End (Insight Records). The single "Dive" having been previously made available on the 4th Annual Independent Label Festival's compilation CD was also the opening track on the popular Northwest band compilation, The New Seattle Music Scene (which also debuted Harvey Danger's soon-to-be-hit song "Flagpole Sitta").
